Personal Kanban

by Jim Benson & Tonianne DeMaria Barry

The summary of this book, in short, is about achieving efficiency and productivity with something very visual and easy to incorporate methods/ processes in your life.

"Personal Kanban resonated with me on different levels. It made me realize how many expectations I place on myself to accomplish within a short span of time."

Completing these tasks seemed very difficult without understanding the hidden effort involved and strategically adjusting my plans to accomplish a particularly cumbersome task. I have been using Kanban boards for professional tasks, but applying the same Kanban to personal tasks helped me grasp the concept on a much more personal level. To better understand and apply this knowledge, I have created a Kanban board and managing my personal tasks on it. This book provided me with clarity about many aspects of myself that I hadn't fully understood before.
