My Last Top 2024 reads :

Personal Kanban by Jim Benson & Tonianne Demaria Barry

This book provided me with clarity about many aspects of myself that I hand fully understood before. The summary of this book, in short, is about how to achieve efficiency and productivity with something very visual and easy to incorporate into your life.

Personal Kanban resonated with me on different levels. It made me realize how many expectations I place on myself to accomplish within a short span of time. Completing these tasks seemed very difficult without understanding the hidden effort involved and strategically adjusting my plans to accomplish a particularly cumbersome task.

I have been using Kanban boards for professional tasks, but applying Kanban to personal tasks helped me grasp the concept on a much more personal level. To better understand and apply this knowledge, I have created a Kanban board and managing my personal tasks on it.

I hope to successfully clear my backlog list by the end of the month. This being the perfect opportunity to incorporate the knowledge that I received  from the book.

Fingers crossed!
