Cross hatching
This piece is one of my favorite. I did this piece in my 2nd year at College. It was my first work where I came to know I am as patient as much as restless while working. We got a weeks times to study still life objects ,understand the nature, color and map the same one paper. I was more imitating realism, so my challenge was to bring the nature of object while doing cross hatching. Cross hatching is also done in a particular angle 45degree, which is contradictory but gives a shaded look in contrast to stroke depth and gradient length.

This is actually my fifth or sixth work, for capturing the still life in detail.
